Cub Adventure Day Camp
The Cub Adventure Day Camp Program provides an introduction to Scouting’s Outdoor Program. Activities are conducted in an outdoor setting, close to home and during daylight hours. Our day camp programs are designed for boys completing grades 1 tough 4 (Tiger Cubs through Webelos Scouts). We are also providing a Coed Week for girls entering 2nd through 5th grade in the fall. Check out our Coed Week Flyer under forms!
The program provides an opportunity for continuation of the Cub Scout program and advancement throughout the summer. Program activities include; swimming, boating, fishing, crafts, hiking, biking, nature study, games, fieldsports, team building activities, archery, and BB gun shooting.
Scouts participating in Day Camp are better prepared and eager to accept the challenge of residential camping. Cub Adventure Day Camp is not attended as an advancement camp. Instead, through supervised activities, boys develop self-reliance and resourcefulness, learn age appropriate skills, establish new friendships and, of course, have lots of FUN.
Camp activities are age-appropriate. Cub Scouts will be placed in dens with boys of the same age and with Scouts from their home units whenever possible. We strongly encourage dens to participate in the week-long activities together, with their den leader.
The Knox Trail Council offers six weeks of Cub Adventure Day Camp. Cub Scouts may attend any week they choose. Programs operate Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Sign up for several weeks or the entire summer and enjoy all the weekly themes. All weeks are conducted at the beautiful Cub Adventure Day Camp at Camp Resolute in the E. Paul Robsham Scout Reservation in Bolton, Massachusetts.
