Adventure Day Camp at Camp Resolute

The Adventure Day Camp Program provides an introduction to Outdoor Program based on the principles of the Scouting program. Activities are conducted in an outdoor setting, close to home and during daylight hours. Our day camp programs are designed for boys and girls completing grades 1 tough 7.

The program provides an opportunity for continuation of the Cub Scout and Learning for Life programs and advancement throughout the summer. Program activities include; swimming, boating, fishing, crafts, hiking, biking, nature study, games, fieldsports, team building activities, archery, and BB gun shooting.  Campers completing 5th through 7th grade select the activities they would like to take.  Check out the 2017 draft schedule!

Campers participating in Day Camp are better prepared and eager to accept the challenge of residential camping. Adventure Day Camp is not attended as an advancement camp. Instead, through supervised activities, boys and girls develop self-reliance and resourcefulness, learn age appropriate skills, establish new friendships and, of course, have lots of FUN.

Camp activities are age-appropriate. Campers will be placed in dens with boys or girls of the same age and with campers from their home towns or units whenever possible. We strongly encourage dens to participate in the week-long activities together, with their den leader or friends and a parent.

The Knox Trail Council offers six weeks of Adventure Day Camp. Campers may attend any week they choose. Programs operate Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Sign up for several weeks or the entire summer and enjoy all the weekly themes. All weeks are conducted at the beautiful Adventure Day Camp at Camp Resolute in the E. Paul Robsham Scout Reservation in Bolton, Massachusetts.
